In fact I've spent the last year suffering in a non profit call center. Most jobs in the counseling field require a minimum of a masters degree. If you think you could work with people with developmental disabilities you could probably find a job in that field. You may also be able to find a job in a facility or program for troubled teenagers. However, these jobs very likely won't be big payers. All of this is also dependent upon what kinds of mental health services are offered in your area. Either way I wish you luck and hope you find something you can enjoy.
